In collaboration with The Young Vic's education department, Parrot in the Tank devised and directed a sensory show with 30+ autistic children to empower them to narrate and be the focus of the story.
Basecamp follows a journey of young explorers travelling across snowy mountains and discovering challenges to overcome as well as appreciating the small things nature has to offer.

Invited back to work with the Young Vic's Outreach & Education programme in 2015, Parrot in the Tank devised and directed this immersive show with 30+ autistic children from the neighbouring boroughs as a response to Richard Jones' main house production of The Trial by Franz Kafka.
Featuring Rory Kinnear, the show unfolds in a surreal factory that proves or disproves the case against the novel's main protagonist, K. It was devised and designed around the children's ideas and in a way that enabled them to take control of the scenes throughout the

Taking inspiration from the stage design of the Robert Icke directed Uncle Vanya, the drama class at Highbury Fields devised a show using mobile phone flashlights to convey internet connectivity and information travelling around.
It began with a simple game of Chinese whispers and grew into a story about misinformation being spread through school and the damage it can do.
